@jorgemarmo If you are using a DXF you must reload the file after changing settings, as denoted by the * on all menus that do not take effect until reloading. It is written in the manual "§ DXF Options (note: options marked with * only have an effect at load)"
The hatch is limited by resolution, if your shapes are small it's possible the hatch will overlap slightly but the laser width is 0.1 to 0.15 so the result will not be visible.
@antonio I will ask again, did you load the Grbl 1.1e firmware?
You obviously have one of the axis reversed, make sure your control board is at the back of the machine and then get the direction arrows jogging correctly. Then it must work correctly, if jog is correct then the output will be correct.
I met and talked with Arduino Founder - Banzi before, and also talk to Arduino Org Chine Zone Master - YuRong in the past.
They allowed me to use this kind of arduino nano board for products
and true , due to the AVR patent expired , every one can make their own ATMEGA328P Chip, i know one china factory which make a new 328P chip , the only different is the way of write EEPROM is different
I have released v1.4r which includes the following changes:
correction factor for arc text size
added half sizes for small text
option to not fill open DXF shapes (disables combine)
simple streaming protocol
add an image border (several options and can be used multiple times for some interesting borders)
smoothie mode (0-1 for laser power)
support DXF points (for CNC drilling)
If you are registered your software will automatically update in the next few weeks (updates are free).
@mmarujo Sketch is not like Paint, it is like CAD. You are entering sizes in millimeters so you don't want to change the size later as it will mess up everything. If you use the A3 size for the page and add your text using the font size (mm) correctly, then after you can crop it. If you select the Auto-Crop Sketch option in Advanced Settings it will be automatic.
