ahhhh... Ok. I thought it was something that let the laser do PWM or something. I wasn't aware it was a tester but now that you mention it I think I saw someone use it on a youtube video for just that purpose. Thanks.
I had the problem. I noticed that by default, the software opened on the port 3,(by me) but the port of the laser was 22. I could'nt change it, even after refreshing , closing the software, reopening it... So i changed the number of the port from 22 to 3 (there was nothing Under 3) and it works. See In peripheral manager, click on the port (Under serial port...) click right: properties, parameters, Advanced...
