Multi-pass is only for vector, it will turn the laser off and wait (dwell) for the time you select before continuing. This is due to vector cutting using full power and also it prevent the material getting too hot and causing a fire, the delay allows everything to cool down.
@depecher, yes. As G-code standard insist that coordinates with decimal value must be with dots. EleksCAM however sends decimal values as told by Windows regional settings. And if in your region by default used comma as decimal point, then EleksCAM sends it that way, but G-code interpreter in firmware does not understand that...
uh not too many upgrades or updates to elekscam. It is a very new program and they are still working out the kinks. If you are looking for a more robust program that gets updated regularly try t2. The trial lets you run for 30 minutes then you have to restart the program. It works very well in trial mode to work out all the bugs in your setup before you commit to any further expense.
You can easily add home switches, and use soft limits. It works really great and is the best upgrade you can make. I don't think it's compatible with the Eleks firmware or software but it's possible with my software T2Laser and actually included as standard.
Did you notice the differences in the assembly manual and official renders? The X axis is installed with the stepper motor on the bottom on renders and with stepper motor on top in the assembly manual. Which way is correct?
