Most often, you will not engrave/burn at full power so it will last a long while before you have to think about replacing it. The standard expected life of the laser module is around 10,000 hours or more if taken proper care. If you burn at full power all the time for great periods of time, it may not last as long.
@rothinmn I only tried the supplied Eleksmaker software very briefly when I first bought the machine, but didn't notice any issues. Not sure if you can view the loaded gbrl settings from either piece of s/w you have and see if the max speed / acceleration is larger in the with the ones loaded by the elksmaker s/w compared to the lasergbrl. I switched to T2 Laser almost immediately and it works very well.
I bought 3 machine and I never had this problem. However, I bought until one month (When seller change of distribution center-Singapur and increase the shipping cost) and I can not connected.
I installed the driver, apper the message where indicaed the installation is succesfull but is not connected.
Eleksmaker, we nedd your help assap
@EchoNeko15 I am the developer of T2Laser software which is not connected with Eleks.
I purchased one of their machines several years ago and found the supplied software to be lacking (and that's being kind) so wrote my own. I have since purchased several machines from Eleks and other vendors. Mechanically I believe the Eleks to be one of the best designs but the supplied controller and software are sub standard. Both are easily upgraded though, so I still feel like the Eleks is the best option for the price.
