@EleksMaker-Z Hi Z, my question is about the assembly of mount module laser, Not is easy to plug and play, right?
I need to release the screws and put de laser module. I did imagine before to receive the machine that a simple push and put, hehehe, easy to my wife change the pen module for a laser module.
@hidoba I had the same problem - if the screws fixing the moving carriage plates together are too tight, they will pull the linear bearings out of alignment and movement will be scratchy and rough - undo the screws a bit until the X Y movement is smooth by hand
This is not Windows bug at all. Don't blame MS for that. Blame national habits. As G-code interpreter in EleksMaker machines does not understand coordinates that are described with commas, it not moves motors. And that is as it must to be, as coordinates with dots are standard to G-code, it is just faulty EleksCAM program that does not send them correctly if some kind of region uses commas in decimal numbers instead of dots that is common to computer world since it's beginnings. It is easy to fix problem and I don't know why EleksMaker did not done it yet.
I attached it to opposite side of moving hand. Yes - if you use it by that way, you must reverse X and Y axis in EleksCAM...
but I have not tried it myself yet because I must do it somewhere else, as 5.5 laser burns instantly and makes very quickly enough smoke to alarm my smokededector.
