Extending the text line
Extending the text line? When burning text how can I adjust the length before it auto goes to the second line. It's like it when it will only let me use about 1/4 of the burn area.
please post a picture of what you are referring too.
While setting up a text burn here is a sample.
Lane's Custom Wood Creation
The name on one line.
No matter what I do it always goes
Lane's Custom Wood
If I make the fonts real small it'll do one line.
you adjust the acerage; which is based on ratio that cannot be unlocked.
Increase the horizontal acerage.
Other options, use different software, or use Inkscape with jtech gcode plugin and load gcode into elekscam.
@Lane - how big you want it? There is 245mm width and 13mm height example:
Just copied and pasted from your post...
Or with another font:
So I don't understand, how you can't...
If a laptop is used, that quardant is not available in 3.1. not very relevant to the present discussion, just thought I would point it out
not real big if I could get 2 of the guide lines big
What you mean? 20 millimetres in height? Distance between two guidelines is 10mm and by my mind you thought two distances. Then whole text will be 413mm by width in one row...
You are right - users with tiny screen resolution are in trouble in CAM 3.1, but I hope that this is not so relevant as working with graphics in our-days with 768 pixels in height is not in fashion anyway.
And maybe there is a solution for that size problem, @mrmister. If there is very big need to change zero point, then - yes - it is ridiculous - you can rotate your picture in screen 90 degrees left or right, then you get extra ~300 pixels to height, if you have wide screen. Change your zero point and rotate screen back.
Just thinking out of box...
@MuuSer lol, yeah I thought of rotating orientation.
