Laser engraving speed
I just want to know how to increace the laser's engraving speed.
I tried putting the engraving speed very high but it still engraves slowly.
It burns the wood very dark. I varied the speed .. I used 10000 mm/min and even 90000 mm/min but it still engraves the same.
What firmware are you using?
Are your steps per mm correct, so sizes come out accurately?
You can not exceed the maximum feed rate set in Grbl ($110 and $111 values)
@Zax I am using elekscam where do I change the setting ?
EleksCAM is the software, the Nano clone is running a version of Grbl (in your case probably mana.hex firmware which is 0.9i).
Typical max feed rate is ~4000 (I'm not sure what Eleks use, you can send the command $$ to get the parameters).
There must be something else wrong if you are burning too much. Probably a software setting.
Try changing the speed in the window that opens when you load a picture or create text
