i got my new nano today. It works as expected Finaly i can laser stuff It works perfect!
So the solution was get a new Nano and T2 Laser!
Thank you for your time
I was able to install it I took the link from the error log file.
I tried the following 3 firmwares (avrdude says it installed)
All three have the same problem .. as soon as i press the powerbutton while usb is plugged in ... there are 12,5V now
Im also confused about the 2 leds that a on the Nano. RU is the red on that shows that there is power, but why is the green one RX on?
I wanted to test T2 Laser but i cant install it always get an Error.
Error: An error occurred trying to download 'https://t2laser.blob.core.windows.net/install/T2Laser.application'.
I get this on the two ways you offer.
And dont worry at this point i wasted so much money .. some more doesn`t matter anymore If i dont eat one or two weeks pffftt who cares i want laser
first of all you are awesome! Fast responds make this really annoying experince much more easy.
I did some further "testing" and i found out that as long as i dont plug in the usb cable there is no power on the motor pins. On the laser pins are the required 12 volts as soon as i press the power button.
I took some further pictures to show you the different "states" of the system. They are all just by plugging in and have no programm like Elekscam or benbox running. I know the wiring is horrible
Powercable plugged in. USB disconnected. Power turned off
Powercable plugged in. USB disconnected. Power turned on
Powercable and USB plugged in. Power off
And now the interesting one. Powercable and USB plugged in. Power turned on.
As soon as i pull the USB Cable it stops. So to me it seems that its rather a software trouble than the MOSFET?
Maybe its the Firmeware? I have the latest EleksmakerRom (3.8) on it now.
I read something about a wrong default powerpin setting in another forum ( https://benboxlaser.us/index.php?topic=1441.0 ) Could it be this?
P.S.: I have ordered a new ttl Eleksmaker laserhead from banggood but it will take about a month. Hope i dont get ripped of this time but i would like to see this one working at least to have a sparepart.
Hello Zax, thanks for the fast response.
Here is a picture of the laser. Yes it is a 2 wire laser that should be using the motor connector.
The 2 V are on the Laser and the Motor pin as soon as i plug in the USB cable.
If i plug in the powerbrick and press the powerbutton it goes up to 12V which lights up the laser.
Since i only have little knowlede of this type of electronics, i was only able to identify one MOSFET on the board. When i measured it i got no results. Can you tell me where it is just to make sure i measured the right one?
I got my Eleksmaker from Ebay and was mayb ripped of but hey that can happen.
As you can read from the title my 2.5w laser is always on.
Anyway as soon as i connect the USB-cable i have around 2 V on the Laser and the Motor Pins on my Mana SE Board.
If i turn on the power to the laser will fire at full blast (maybe because its a non ttl laser yay ripp off).
I tried different softwares like Elekscam, Lasergrbl, benbox and Laserweb. I also flashed the software of the board several times. And i tried grbl 1.1e no success.
So what could it be? How can i fix it or did i make my eight mistake in choosing a laser engaver and should quit this hobby?
Oh here is a picture of the board.
