The upgraded Z axis plates simply hold the pencil attachment for the dremel on a flexible shaft., & the dremel is hung up above. It is a massive improvement for this machine!!

RE: ER chuck for the EleksMill?
I was also looking for something like this. I ended up making my own holder for a Dremel (cheaper version of a dremel) which has a 3mm chuck. It also increased the motor wattage from 40 watt to 170 watts. The only problem is that the motor speed cannot be controlled by the g code.
Alternative clamps for Eleksmill
Can anyone recommend a different clamping arrangement for the Eleksmill?
I'd like to buy something better than what comes with the mill.
Also, I'm away for work so I'm unable to go & measure, but does anyone know the dimensions of the T Slot base?
RE: Universal G-Code Sender & Macbook "No Serial Ports Found"
Thanks so much for the advice, sounds exaclty what I am going through. I've given it several goes now but still no success.
I think it might be problem with my Macbook software it's High Sierra, I install the driver & the System info, nothing new shows up.
I'll keep trying, but I might just hire a computer nerd to try crack it for me.
Universal G-Code Sender & Macbook "No Serial Ports Found"
This is my first CNC machine & I can't connect to my Eleksmill. I've got a Macbook & downloaded UGS & it says there's no serial port. I've downloaded a bunch of serial port drivers & still nothing. Any tips for a noob?
RE: Using Fusion 360 & UGS on Macbook
thanks for that!
Using Fusion 360 & UGS on Macbook
Is it possible to operate the EleksMill with fusion 360 & UGS (or any other freeware G code softwar the fusion can talk to), while using a macbook?
