servo issue w/eleksmakerA3 drawing unit
Hi. I have both an EleksMaker A3 and an EleksDraw, so I've been able to do some troubleshooting before posting. on my Eleksmaker A3, if what should be a pen-down command is sent (laser pulse via T2), the servo rotates more than 90 degrees clockwise, locking it.
if i disconnect that servo from the board on the A3, reset the switch/arm location manually to the vertical position, connect it to the board on my Eleksdraw, and send the same command (laser pulse via T2) the servo behaves correctly. so, something on the boards appears to be different, but I'm not sure if it's a physical defect or a firmware issue.
is there anything i need to do with the Eleksmaker A3 firmware to use it exclusively for drawing and have it correctly interpret the pulse commands as pen-up/pen-down, or is there potentially a problem with the board i received?
I received the kit only 2 days ago, so it's brand new.
please advise. thank you.
**edit: i just flashed the problematic board with eleksrom v3.8. i tried once selecting the EleksLaser option and once selecting the EleksDraw option. the servo problem remains and has persisted across both flashes.
if i disconnect the motors and servo and connect them to the board from the Eleksdraw, everything works fine. so, the issue appears to be with the board that i received. can anything i might be able to adjust on it resolve the issue?
