Laser cutting with A3 Eleksmaker
-
Hello everyone, I'm french ... sorry for my english !
I've bought a laser engraver - A3 with 5500mA !
I want to cut shapes like phone cases (it's to stick wood behind iphone cases), but when I use T2-Laser or another software, the cut is not precise ... ! I want to cut the outline of this :
I've used .dxf, .png, .bmp, .... format but nothing is really good ...If anyone can helps me, it will be very very cool !

@wasmax hi. Post a picture of the results you are getting so we can see what the problem is and give suggestions on things to fix
-
Ok thanks !
That’s the result :
-
@wasmax If you want very precise cuts, either use a high quality image to trace or even better create it in a CAD program as vector and export as DXF.
-
I try with dxf but it’s the same problem... (dxf with Inkscape, then import into T2 laser but same result...)
-
If you send me the image (highest resolution you have) I will let you know if this is a machine issue or just your file.
The trace function is very good but you do need a reasonable size image to get accurate results, that's normal and nothing to do with T2Laser. It may be easier to draw it in CAD, or find the vector artwork.

You want the dxf file ? Or png ?
Thank you
-
@wasmax Send both to my e-mail (you can reply to the license e-mail or send to support at t2laser.org) and I will check for you and provide a solution.
-
@Zax I've sent a message at the support e-mail !
Thank you so much for your help

@wasmax Your files are great, the problem must be mechanical. Check the belt tension and make sure the wheels are not binding and/or have wobble.
-
Can I set a value for the laser diameter ? On my CNC it’s too high...
-
@wasmax Laser diameter or spot size is set by turning the lens (focus).
