Troubles connecting EleksCam to EleksEgg
-
We received an EleksEgg as a gift, and were successfully (we think) able to assemble it. The front piece that's supposed to say "EleksMaker" is missing, but that's not a big deal. Where we really hit trouble was when we got to step 7 of the operating instructions. The correct port shows up in EleksCam, but when we click the refresh button, all we get is the message "Find Serial Ports Failed." Our computer currently uses Windows 10.

@altrum Here's my guide to assembly and setup, I can't help with their software since I've never installed it (after Benbox and it's malware there's no way I am giving their software admin access).

Thank you! Your setup images look clearer. I'm still not sure though how to go about connecting the software to EleksEgg. I appologize - I'm new to this kind of thing. I installed T2Laser, but I'm not seeing any option to "connect to your COM port" or "Check that it reports connected to Grbl 0.9ia."

@altrum If you have already installed the USB drivers, you should be able to click the lightning bolt and then select the port from the drop down menu.

What I see looks like this:
I installed the driver under the help menu. Did I install the wrong program?

@altrum T2Laser has 2 main screens, the Design Screen that is shown in your screenshot and the Laser Controller. Click that 3rd icon that looks like a USB with a laser.

Wohoo, it works, thank you so much!
