T2Laser etching then cutting
-
Was wondering if it is possible to set up 2 different power or speed levels in software. eg - engraving a picture then cutting around it, I've seen other software that you can set different power setting for certain parts of a project, but can't work out if it is possible in T2. Thanks in andvance

@DunsterGoth Yes. There's separate feed rates for engraving and cutting, you can also apply multi-pass to the vector cut as needed.

Is it possible also with the same Image? I mean, can I set the boundaries to be cut and the center to be engraved? How can we do this?
Thanks @Zax.

@alvar0.ga It's possible using Sketch Plus (Overlay) mode to engrave and then cut, you select the cut using the trace feature to generate vector from the image. You could also load separate files or generate separate G-code files and combine them in a text editor (or just run one and then the other).

how can i choose different speeds or even use the colors from inkscape?
-
@kdaffy The default is to translate the colors to laser power, you can change the settings to make the colors use different speeds instead if you wish. The manual covers this so have a look there and let me know if it's still not clear.
