8W laser instead of 3W
-
I have this board and 3W laser
Can I connect this one of 8W to my board
-
we nerver sell this kind of machine, they are low fake one.
and this laser module will soon borken
-
I know that you do not sell this kind of c....p😆Can I use this pwm to ttl from elksmaker to connect 8w laser and than to connect to my board.
-
@firewirehn That controller doesn't have a TTL output port, of course you could manually solder wires to the Nano and make it work but you would be better to purchase an Eleks Mana and their laser module.
-
Can you send me link of this board.Whit this I do not need to solder anything isnt it?
-
@firewirehn Click on store at the top of the forum or search Banggood, just be sure you are getting genuine products.

Hello Zax.Is this Eleks control board which you told me to buy
For 8w laser do I need external control board to connect laser on it and than to make connection from this external control laser board to my cnc control board.
8 W laser is this one
I am confused little bit because I think there is aditional power supply for this laser and I do not have any picture of how is connected this type of laser on any board.
-
And what are this two cables
-
@firewirehn Yes the board looks like EleksMaker product, the laser is some cheap knock off and has inverted TTL so it's junk.
That cable looks like a power splitter so you can use the same supply for the laser and controller, this is actually a good idea.
-
So Do I need something like external board to connect firs laser and then from that external board to connect on the eleks maker cnc control board.
-
@firewirehn Normal TTL convention is high is ON and low is OFF, the laser you showed is opposite which is really dumb. So it would need a TTL logic inverter on the input, you should also include a pull down resistor for safety. If you don't have electronics experience I would just purchase a better laser like the Eleks brand that is plug and play with their board.
