Red light Eleksmaker draw
-
It does not work. I get to move the machine with the axes but the pen holder makes no movement or attempt to move. I also got this red light that might means that something with the assembly is wrong. Please help!!

@mjlandeta Did you configure the firmware for servo mode? It may be too late now, likely the gears are damaged due to over travel when in laser mode with a servo connected.
-
@Zax so, what should I do to make it work?
-
@mjlandeta First enable servo mode in the firmware (I don't know what software you are using but it should have a menu to do that) and then see if it works, if not, you'll need to replace the servo (any cheap hobby servo will work).

@Zax it works!! thank you! but the light is still red and gets stuck always at 11% of the process. Has something to do with that?
-
@mjlandeta It sounds like your Nano may be damaged, you could enable Simple Streaming in the Advanced Settings. It may help as it does not use the buffer memory, but it isn't a solution as the memory is still required to run the machine.
-
@Zax So the best way would be to replace it? do you have a link or something where I can buy a new one? Thanks!!

@mjlandeta Any Nano will work, look for one that includes the boot loader so you can just upload firmware and has a genuine ATmega328p chipset. I've used Geekcreit, Hi Let Go and Sainsmart brands, all worked great and are cheap.
