drawing at 45degree angle
As mentioned in the topic, my Eleksdraw is drawing perfectly fine, but at a 45 degree angle. Im using Eleksdraw CAM software. Any suggestion please?
Also, at first, it was printing a MIRROR image of the picture. I CHECKED the option of X-REV and now, the drawing is perfect (NOT MIRROR), but it is NOT STRAIGHT as it is supposed to be.
And, in EleksDraw I find more options like:
PLUSE, which is set to value 80 for both X & Y
and ACCEL, which is set to value 200 for both X & Y.
What are these two options? When and Why to use them? Will changing this help in straigtening the drawing? (Tried changing the value, but it is taking a very very long time, so reverted back to old settings as mentioned above). Please eloborate.
@mokksha_art Configure the firmware for CoreXY (as that is the system your EleksDraw uses) and it will be correct.
Got it bro. Thanks a lot. Appreciate your timely help.
@Zax - Can you also advice what is the MAX SIZE i can take the drawing using this EleksDraw
@mokksha_art It will draw approximately 11x8 inches or 28 x 20 cm.
@Zax How do I configure the firmware for CoreXY?
@hondosound In T2Laser you click the menu option for EleksDraw which sets CoreXY and Servo Mode or you can click the individual options to switch modes as you choose.
In the eleksmaker program when I press the -y button x moves as well, it never used to do that until I started messing with T2 laser and as a result draws at a 45 degree angle. How do I restore it to normal wher if I press -y button it moves down only?
@Kevin-Harte As I posted in your other thread, wrong firmware. So I'm guess you have an EleksDraw and uploaded Grbl 1.1 which isn't compatible with these CoreXY systems. In the custom firmware load the Eleks Mana and then configure it with the menu to EleksDraw and everything will work correctly.
