Stuttering while printing
When printing by transmitting gcode via elekscam the plotter is stuttering and skipping instructions. The blue light on the board flashed when it is missing instructions (see video).
Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it?
@Matthew-Hughes I would guess it’s a software glitch, most programs send one command and wait for it to finish before sending another. This is called Simple Streaming. T2Laser is different as it compresses the data and uses the Nano buffer to ensure smooth and faster motion. The trial is free to test, it also supports the non buffered simple method should you choose.
I experienced this exact problem, and it went away when I installed the updated serial drivers for the CH340 usb-serial converter https://sparks.gogo.co.nz/ch340.html
Correct CH340 driver is included with T2Laser, click Help menu and Install CH340 Driver. If Windows has already loaded a different driver it will not automatically replace it - so you have to do manual update and select it from the wch.cn folder in your root directory.
