always set home origin when i start don,t know what the rest means am fairly new to this

@steve596 I suspect you are setting the Sketch size to your machine, instead of the size you want to engrave. You can enable the auto-crop option or use custom size and set it to your area (not machine).

@Zax is that just for fill then as the rest work o.k. but will try that thanks

@steve596 No, the same rule applies to everything but with a filled Sketch it will go to the very top left of the "image" at the start and if you have the size the same as your machine but didn't set home correctly it will travel to the back and hit the limits.
