Alright! With use color for sequence its possible to control the contour color to always be last in the code!
This is getting more and more spot on
finally I could say I´ve tried this. And it works GREAT!
Even got my plasma couple of days ago and it does´nt seem to stall or interfere with the CNC system wich was my biggest consern, not done any fancy testing yet, just ran the CNC with laser and cut manually with the plasma quite close to where I will mount the plasmahandle. hopefylly i get to try to really fabricate something soon.
one question remains though. is it posible to make some kind of priority order wich lines comes first and so on.
I´m worried that many times it´s going to cut the contour first wich will result in movement of the piece and probably ruin the rest of the cutting...
Maby one have to cut and paste the code to make it work? or just remove a bit of line and leave the piece hanging till it´s done with the "internal" cutting...
BTW the plasma is a stamos s-plasma 85H (not the CNC since i want to be able to use it manually to)
Edit: made a quick test and it seems to be quite simple to just find the code for the contour and move it to the bottom to get the contour to be cut last, even without any pre-knowledge of how the G code works!
Hello, I´ve just put together my CNC and have the exact same idea as @hypermagic! were this successfull?
going to make som more tests with just the laser before hooking up my plasma, guess i´ll find out sooner or later anyway... is the update @Zax talking about anywhere to download or is this integrated in t2 nowadays?
(T2 seems great compared to recomended software for my cnc BTW!...) old topic, someone else tried this approach?
