you need to make sure no one else walks into the room where the laser is operating and always wear your glasses, the green ones I mean, be safe and hope you are feeling better now. Regards Tug

RE: Adjusting power settings
No Need I'll second it for you Zax, this T2 program is top draw, it will allow you to do anything you need simply and without fuss, also I think I'm right is saying it's the only program that can calculate the movement required for my rotary unit.
the least you could do it down load the trial and see if you like it first. nothing ventured nothing gained.
RE: Expanding Eleksdraw Work Area?
Hi Paper Jet, as I said in your other post one set of profiles are the 2040 and the other two are as yo have shown here. I get mine from ebay but as I'm not sure what country your in this might not help much but you can get an idea of what I'm talking about look up this auction number in ebay.com ( 303123017451)
hope that helps.
RE: custom size EleksLaser a3
there are two profile Ali sections two of the 2040 and two of the smaller single section not sure of it's designated number could be the 2020, your going to need the 90 deg brackets, roller assembly kits and the perspex CNC cut sheets for the rolling carriages. my question would be Why? the unit is not expensive and would save all the trouble. Oh and if your thinking of copying their design make sure it's not 'copyright' protected or it could cost you a lot more than you thought. likewise my rotary unit is also 'copyright' pending. good luck anyway.
New Forest Lasers are now ready
For those who are looking for a way to engrave/etch onto glass or any other round objects my rotary unit is now ready and available at www.newforestlasers.co.uk
Please take the time to visit.
It comes with full instructions for assembly and we are ready to assist in anything you need to know about the unit.
This has to be the best option available on the market to date at a price most will find well within their budget.
RE: Laser moves but not burn
And the best program for your bucks/pounds depending on where you are of course.
The support is second to none and most of us are using it without the slightest problems, which means you can get on with stuff instead of running around like headless chickens trying to work out why it's not doing what you want. The only association I have with Zax is his program is used to operate my rotary laser add on unit. which can be viewed at www.newforestlasers.co.uk
Give the T2Laser trial a go it's worth the test if nothing else.
RE: Noise from fan at power up
I had one of my lasers making that noise, I cured it by carefully removing the round label and adding a drop of sowing machine oil to the bearing, replaced the label and it's been fine ever since.
