I'm on the hunt for a good solution for
macOSX so the new asset of mine, the EleksLaser A3 Pro, will work flawlessly with my Macbook Pro. As fare as I have been able to get now are installing the drivers needed to communicate with the board via the link introduced in this tread by @EleksMaker-Z
I have tried the following software so fare,
ZapMaker / Grbl Controller got my closes to something usable, I found out that the port name was
/dev/cu.wchusbserial1420 with a baud rate of
115200. PLEASE NOTE That the laser goes ON and OFF with FULL power when tryout this software so use EYE Protection when explores this area or Any of the stuff I posting here.
Also the J TECH Photonics / Inkscape Laser Tool Plug-in looks promising for G-code generation. Btw Inkscape are reinstalled (v.0.92) after the EleksLaser A3 Pro entered my doors.
But my quest are not satisfied and still on the search and exploring what I found on my path.
Is there any others out there that are on the same quest? Or even have reached a satisfying goal? Please let me know
